Global Warming Effects on Agriculture and Food Supply

In the past, it was believed that global warming has good effect on agriculture and food supply. The reason is the will be higher carbon-dioxide from climate change, so that it will help the plants for photosynthesis and increase the agricultural production and food supply. However, recent studies say that hotter weather results negative effects on agriculture and food supply. Hot condition will cause more droughts, floods, landslides and storms. Then, winter will be shortened while summer will be longer and severe. That will be followed with heavy rain, big storm, heavy snowfall, high sea level, and higher coastal erosion.

However, the food supply and production level is expected to rise continually. The real condition is longer drought makes more problems in agriculture. It reduces some productions of staple food. Also, one of the effects of global warming the south west USA is lacking of more water supplies in coming days. That area becomes dryer so that it is below the standard agricultural production. Following a report of weather modification, the snow covered Sierra Mountains can decrease in near future by up to 60-90%. As a result, there will be frightening problem in water supply and that area is not suitable for agricultural production. More states have said that there will be reduction in agriculture and food supply due to effects of global warming.

Researchers have conducted some studies to create new and more sustainable farming methods which contribute to make healthier and chemical free food for customers. Also, it is expected that the findings will concern about the environment, effects of too much chemical fertilizer on food use on our own health, and the quality of the land. There is no perfect job in this world since every job has its own positive and negative aspect. What many workers do is minimizing each negative thing. Perhaps you think that factory workers have the most risk if it is compared with any other industries. One reason is there are some strict rules and procedures which are applied to the workers while they are working. The aim is protecting all employees from any type of injury. Having a job is a blessed since it will support daily needs and health conditions. Many people who are jobless try hard to learn more and apply in many places, so that they will finally get a job. However, the working fields are limited and the number of unemployment is higher. This forces some unemployment to take several jobs which are considered dangerous or insecure. Indeed, there are certain occupations which have significant risk of injury or death such as working in timber cutting, fishing, pilots/navigators, structural metal workers, drivers-sales workers, roofing, and farm occupations. Some of them offer higher salary due to the higher risk they pose.

Workers compensation laws have been set in every state although there are some different points based on the field of work. Every worker in all industries is protected under the laws. Accidents Due To Farm Equipment & Lawnmower

Many houses in the suburb area have garden whether it is small or large. Consequently, people will purchase some farm equipments and lawnmower. They are the main tools to maintain the lawn and they will take out their mowers and start cutting their lawns. However, you should realize that there is dangerous side of them especially if they are use improperly and by children. Every year, there are reports about injuries due to farm equipment, including mowers.

Normally, people will use their mower at least twice a month and it means that mower can be more dangerous than other products, including cars and even guns.
